WE ARE SEEKING A HERDING BREED-EXPERIENCED ADOPTER FOR CASSIDY. Cassidy is fostered in Naples, FL (Collier County). We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families!
Cassidy is a 15-week-old Australian cattle dog puppy - she might have something else mixed in, but we only see heeler. She is a fun little pup who loves to play fetch, lounge, chew on toys, get belly rubs and squeak in true heeler fashion. She should be standard size for a heeler when fully grown, in the 30-45 lb range. Please research the needs of this breed before inquiring. Cassidy has potential to go to a performance or working dog home, but will also do well in a family setting with experienced adopters. As a young herding dog, she does require a fenced yard. She will go home with a spay contract - once she is spayed at 6 months of age, $50 of her adoption donation can be refunded. She will be up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines as of 2/19 and her adopter will need to complete her vaccines if she is adopted before her third set is due. She will also be microchipped and have a clean fecal test prior to adoption.
