Don Australian Cattle Dog Senior Male for sale in Bradenton, Florida

$250

My story
Don is currently fostered in Sunset, LA for our rescue, Ewenity Farm, a Herding Dog Haven, which is Florida-based. Because of his temperament he cannot be placed on a transport run with strangers, so he needs to be picked up from his foster home. Don is a 32 lb male Australian cattle dog mix who has had a tough life. He is estimated to be 7-8 years of age, give or take 3 years. It is hard to tell due to the condition of his teeth. He will be having a dental prior to adoption to make sure anything that needs to be pulled is. His ears are somewhat rumpled from previous neglect, but are healthy. He needs slow introductions to other dogs, but does great with them once order is established. He is a tough cookie, a typical heeler who is selective about who he lets around. He is extremely loyal and loving with his chosen people. He will wait for his person day and night, warm your seat and cuddle with you. He is fairly laid-back but requires a bond with his people. He likes cats. He is housebroken and crate trained. Don is up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, neutered and microchipped. He is looking for a very special adopter. His standard donation is $250, however he can be adopted by someone 65+ for $150 through our Seniors for Seniors program. We are a foster-based rescue organization with foster homes throughout the state of Florida. We predominantly save dogs from municipal shelters throughout the Southeastern U.S. Our rescue dogs live in foster homes - there is no central facility. If interested in meeting one of our wonderful adoptable dogs, please fill out an application at  ewenityfarmsbch.com . Information on adoption donation amounts and our process can also be found at this site.
